Elect Danette Onofrio State Representative 108th District

Danette OnofrioDanette Onofrio is the candidate for State Representative of the 108th General Assembly District.  She has a rich history in public administration with 20 years’ experience working for a legislative body and providing constituency services.  She went on to work for nonprofits and schools.  She is a small business owner who works with public entities to improve services at lower costs.  With a Master of Public Administration and as a candidate for a Doctorate of Management, she taught public officials for Marist College School of Management. As a SCORE Business Advisor, she helps people start and strengthen businesses.

With this wide range of skills, experience and knowledge, Danette is running to help in the recovery of COVID, Economic and Community Development, support schools and libraries, and protect Candlewood Lake and other natural resources. She will work to support legislation that strengthens small business, builds infrastructure, retains, and creates higher paying jobs, prepares youth for local jobs, and improves the lives of working families.  Danette is an advocate.  She has been an activist for underserved people who were marginalized, pregnant, drug or alcohol abusers, disabled, homeless, and Black or other minorities.  She has advocated for commonsense gun reform.  She is a Library Director at the New Fairfield Public Library, Secretary of the New Fairfield DTC, and members of the Friends of the Library and Woman’s Club of Danbury/New Fairfield.
