Larry was born in Buffalo, NY and raised throughout the Northeast. He recently retired as Executive Director of the Health Fund for faculty of the City University of New York. He previously served in a similar capacity for the Home Care workers of Local 1199, NY and DC 37 AFSCME, NY and as Chief Financial Officer for UNITE, the international clothing worker’s union.
He began his career with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
He has held adjunct professor positions with College of New Rochelle and the Cornell ILR School.
Larry received a BS from Cornell College of Engineering, MBA from Boston University and Master of Health Studies also from Cornell University.
He and his wife Julie have been Danbury residents for 24 years – not too far from three adult children and four grandchildren.
Larry is running for Zoning Commission because he wants to give back to the community that he loves.
